The third chakra, which governs our will, self-esteem and sense of personal power, is located in the solar plexus. When energy flows freely through this center, we’re confident about our ability to manifest our intentions and desires. When the third chakra is blocked, however, we feel powerless and frustrated.   (www.chopra.com) A beautiful little pouch, that starts with butter soft yellow deerskin.  The center medallion is made of white sheepskin and tan deerskin.  All handstitched with Spanish Edge Lacing, in yellow deerskin suede. The focal point is a gorgeous Yellow Agate donut bead, measuring 35mm in diameter.  The center holds an antique Venetian disc with Amber on top.  Surrounding the Agate are Amber beads.  The small circle applique holds Yellow Amber and the outer circle holds Yellow Orange Amber, creating a very dimensional piece.  Dangling from the bottom is a Natural Citrine Crystal Point bead, measuring 23mm long. The pouch measures 3 1/2" across X 4 1/2" long.  The inside measurements are 3" across X 3 3/4" long.  Double drawstring keep the top tight and secure by sliding the 2 antique Venetian glass discs.  The ends of the strands hold vintage hand forged Ethiopian brass and glass pony beads.  A three strand braided strap can be added for an additional $20 or a single strand strap for $5.  Signed and dated by the artist. copyright Karen Prado 2008 Click on my other items to see additional antique, vintage & ethnic beads plus handcrafted leather medicine bags.
