Description
This is a mineral collector's dream, a quiet fountain and illuminated crystals. Comparable pieces here sell for $1,000.00 plus. it is virtually white on both sides. This is a GREAT designer piece. The crystals rest on expanded metal which has a ring holding it above the water container with the pump in it. The small crystals cover the expanded metal. The base is composite stone in two layers and it is waterproofed. The water used should always be filtered or better distilled water, which will avoid mineral deposits. The pump pushes up with enough force to rotate the ball. It is a wonderful focal piece for a room. However, it weighs close to 50 pounds and once placed is better left alone. Leveling is important to the rotation of the ball, as is the distance of the pump from the ball. Here are pictures of the base, the front, the back and the amethyst ball which measures about 3 inches. Just in front of the base you will see the pump. It has a light, but currently needs changing apparently, as it does not turn on. It measures approximately 17 " X 11 " X 15 ". Sample rates to Canada are between $90 and $110.00. I assume Europe would not be too much more. We can ship it anywhere, but insurance is a must. There is little that can go wrong with it once the beautiful long crystals are protected. We charge $ 45.00 handling ( because of the cost of assuring no damage we have to spend on special hard foam, as well as peanuts, and double thick boxes), WHICH IS IN ADDITION TO SHIPPING CHARGES, on this, plus insurance, governed by the final bid. Shipping costs WILL BE BILLED at actual. However, we can deliver it within 50 miles which would be a $ 30.00 charge. Over that you would have to pay shipping and insurance. We will ship to Europe, China, Greece - anywhere really.
