ITEM DESCRIPTION: Here is the 8th of 11 Gorgeous & Rare Original Psychedelic Prints of the Astrological Signs of the Zodiac circa 1969 by the well known listed artist-illustrator ‘David Palladini’ (American, 1946-). ‘Palladini’ is best known for his Aquarian Tarot Decks, and also for children’s book illustrations and movie posters. These would make a wonderful addition to any David Palladini, Tarot or Astrological Zodiac collection. These were all from a complete set of 12 Prints originally but unfortunately we are missing one print of the Zodiac Sun Sign ‘Leo’. Please see our other listings for the other signs. This eighth Print of the Sun Signs is titled “Virgo Aug. 24, Sept. 22”, as appears printed upper middle in the image area. The artist’s printed signature along with the date appears lower left vertically written, ‘Palladini `69’. The Publisher is unknown but may have published by Morgan Press 1970, the same year as Palladini’s Aquarian Tarot was published. Each of the Print sizes are about 14.5 x 22.25, and have about a ¾” white margin around the left, bottom & right sides, and about a 1-1/4” at the top. The Print is in Excellent Rare condition with No Color Fade. The Print has been in a drawer among other prints since it was purchased by Walter Meibohm and has not seen the light-of-day in all that time-the colors are as beautiful as the day it was printed. Some creasing in the margin areas, and minimal creasing in the image area-and isn’t even noticeable at all in the image area. There is a very light and perfectly straight score-line running side to side in the upper middle from the original printing I believe, possibly from the printing press. One very tiny margin edge tear (less than 1/16”) which is repaired from behind with archival tape for protection, and is negligible since it can easily be framed out. No Foxing. Slight edge wear.
