Her name is Danalil. She is a part of a tree and she is quite tall...but extremely alluring. She has taken on a look of a tree almost as she is of greenish tinge.Her hair is greenish gold. She fell in love with a human and had a relationship with him until his death in 1892.She says that this is not uncommon; more common than we know.She has the form of a human, yet she is a bit transparent at times; depending on what the conversation is about.She decided to stay within the tree when her human passed on because she was only granted one human lifetime with him by her Queen, and when he died she was very upset that she could not seek him out in the other realm to which he had decided to inhabit. She did try to go to him; but was banished to a fairy garden for 100 human years.She found that lying at the foot of the willow in the garden helped her to sleep and dream; and when she put her ear up to the trunk of the tree, it had a rhythmic thrum to it. So similar to the heartbeat of her human lover that she spent many nights sleeping under the stars; curled around the trunk of the tree.Since she had not been able to see her lover for 100 years; by faerie magick; she transfused herself into the tree trunk and there; feeling the thrum of the tree; spent 100 years. She told me however that she did not always look this way. That she dreamed for many years inside of the tree; and that she did not take nourishment. The tree; loving her for being so attentive towards him; decided to infuse her with nourishment of his own making it so that she could dream for as long as she desired.As the years went by; recieving nourishment from the tree; her appearance changed and she became as strong and tall as her provider.She did after 100 years go to the side of her human lover; and she did show him her true shape. He thought her new look very beautiful and she was very relieved that he thought this way.They planned to wed; and then she suddenly took ill.Now this is uncommon for a faerie to take ill. Finally; realizing there was nothing more he could do; in desperation he took her to the tree; hoping that the he would know what to do.When they arrived; she had lost consciousness and he could only lean her up on the trunk of her friend; imploring him to speak with him.As most people should know; trees do not speak to just anyone. They have to know you very well in order for you to be able to communicate with them. So there was only silence.In her sleep she curled her very long body around the tree; and her human in weariness also fell asleep beside her.When he awoke; he was amazed to see that Danalil was stranding over him with a faraway look on her face; but totally conscious.He was extremely happy and and tears were streaming down his face.....you see; he had loved her more than anyone could ever love another; and he had spent his 100 years in isolation thinking of her and playing songs on his wooden flute. So, knowing her looks; he asked her what was bothering her. She could not speak she was so sad; so she had to communicate to him through thought. In this way she could quiet his sadness by showing him the faeire images in her head which can easily have a hypnotic effect upon humans.What she said communicated was that by taking nourishment from the tree for so long; she had become a part of it and could never leave or death would surely be her punishment.He decided to ask the queen if he could build a house in the garden; and to everyone's surprise; the queen allowed the request. Now you are probably saying "great story"; but do I believe this?Well, normally this does not occur in an average humans life....I will tell you how I met her.I was visiting my mom in the Northwestern territory of the USA. I cannot tell you exactly where. I hope you understand, but it is somewhere between california and alaska; near the coast.Anyway, I often went for long walks alone through the forests.I came upon a garden within a forest. Unbelievably beautiful. I mean it was beautiful enough to remember forever in a lifetime as one of the most beautiful places I will ever see.I saw a spring with a tree shading it, and sat down and pulled out my wooden flute which I always carry in my backpack while in any wooded area. It is just a thing with me.I began to play; and I knew I had gone through a portal to another realm because the forest started playing back to me. Not from just one place; but from the water; the trees; the earth; the grass. It was like a giant harmony going on; but you could tell something was magick right away. It had to be fae.I was so happy to hear the way I was playing. My playing was so inspired I figured the Tuatha de Danann were with me; and that quite possibly I had come by some accident while walking and my body was dead somewhere while my spirit was perfectly attuned.But that was not the case. After my flute was wet with spittle and I had to take a break to let it dry; I saw this lovely transparent woman come floating up to me. I thought it was a Dryad; but after her story; I knew I was mistaken. She was a nymph, and by some quirk of destiny she had changed her existence and was now so similar to a Dryad that I was totally fooled. We spoke for a long time because it is not often when you get to speak to a faerie. They could be around you for ever; but to actually get a conversation is rare. The thoughts that she presented to my mind were so saturated that I knew she must be very, very old, but she did not really understand old and was not able to tell me. From what I gathered she was absolutely ancient. She offered me a gift for good deeds done and for remembering the old ones.I asked if she could give me a spell to find a love like she had with her husband. She said she could not do this. And showed me that destiny already had this in store for me and very soon.So I requested the spell again; but this time for others who wished deep and everlasting love.This she had to ask permission once again for. And once again the queen; totally out of character; agreed.She said that because they would have never let me come to the garden if they did not trust me; that they could agree to give me the faerie love spell. There was only one condition; and that was to not let anyone believe that they could behave foolishly with this spell. I never asked what the repercussion would be.You NEVER question a queen; especially a fairy. If they don't tell you; simply DO NOT ASK!So here we are....size 510k solid goldamethyst and diamonds in a sort of Celtic knot.With a great love spell on it.Oh I forgot to tell you. Danalil got a piece of bark from her tree and put a spell on it.
