SCARY!' Description I am relisting the doll due to being out voted in the family...she is very haunted and strong spirited!!...not a toy or for the faint of heart!! ( my own personal doll) I had bought for myself to restore! I hate to part with her but my kids are very afraid of her! As is my better half..... is also uneasy with the doll being in the house and out! She is a treasure of a find!...a rare gem in the ruff!... first let me tell you what kind of doll she is! She is a large doll of 24 inches..2 feet tall!..she is very lucky enought to still be wearing her antique clothes she came with! her face,neck and shoulder plate along with arms and hands are all composition..her body is cloth and she is still wearing her antique leather boots and cloth stockings! her belt!! has the antique beautiful buckle of over a hundred years of beauty!..she is a rare doll to be all intact! I paid alot for this doll and wanted her for myself! my own personal collection! a collection of  500+ dolls that I have to pass on to my daughters and grand daughters someday!  She came from a estate sale up north..my birth place!!...she was the doll of a great aunt and the family was a very wealthly family. I was told thats all they knew ....they were a resale dealer.... and only knew the doll had been in one family that had money! and the great aunt had died that had her! I belive the family name was Moss...I had her awhile and the usual things occurred as other spirited dolls! she was found in different spots and smells occurred with lights going off! strange noises and the sound of slamming doors!...things we are adjusted to anyway!..we knew she was haunted with some unseen spirit of her past! Things began to change when I took her into New Orleans to have her restored! she always had some strange dirt I couldnt seem to get all off in all the cracks and groves! I did notice the dress have almost torn or shredded parts like bugs have eaten it or mybe mice! and there was a odor, the doll that smelled of a chemical and I wanted to look into having her stuffing cleaned thinking it was so old! and mybe mildew? The lady that retores for me said that the stuffing had no mildew or staining and the ordor was absorbed in the area it was stored for along time... The dirt seen to be almost ground in at places as if it has sat on it for years! she noticed the strange clothes of the doll and then something I never noticed written on the dolls composiion was date of  Dec 1880 and another day...died Aug 1896!! ...my friend said...could this doll had been buried with someone and then dug up and not returned to the grave? I took her to a old cemetary in New Orleans and he looked at her and said that it looked like at one time she was covered in dirt that leaks in to the caskets back then!..she was stained by weather and dirt! conditions!...to his knowledge she looked to had once been buried with a deceased in a old weathered casket! and that the smell is a alcohol base smell that is common with how they embomded bodies for furnerals back then! and he has seen alot of bug eaten cloths come out of the old caskets! he thought she had been buried for quite awhile and mybe the body was moved and the doll not replaced becouse she was either of value or all the family died out and it was like a grave robber? or mybe the old aunt kept it to rember the person passed!..we will never know...but everything pointed to this doll having been buried for quite a time!   I started to work to repair and match her dress and few hairs on her head with matching fabric and wig when we started seeing a ghost of a girl and appear in the bedrooms of our home! see seemed mad or upset and the more I worked with the doll the more things started to happen! dishes flying out of the cabient and doors slamming till the molding came loose! I had gottten in a EMF meter that I had ordered to play around with and see if my dolls had any readings! I started taking photos of her at different times of day and different places to see if anything came up! some times nothing! then at night around 2:00am I started seeing the meter go back and forth and flashing! a man tall and slender all in black started to appear and walk through walls at night! my older son leaving to stay at his friends! a reader told us he was a religious man that knew who stole the doll from the grave and was angry about it! feeling its a sin to disturb the dead! my daughter saw his shadow while in the shower through the curtain!   I started snaping photos and got beans of light and the high meter readings and even orbs!..My daughter and son have hear the name Jenny called in the house many times and thats what we feel the doll must be named so we call her Jenny...A reader told me that Jenny was taken from the owners grave and she wants her returned to her!   that she is angry over Jennys being removed! when I was in my dinning room my baby buggy I got from england came rolling very fast toward me! full of my antique dolls!
