We hope you will be touched by her spirit also and accept Emmalise into your home and your heart as we have!! These items are haunted by a young woman who lived and died in the 1800’s; the box and all of the items included are from the 1800’s. We have been working with this spirit for two months now. During this time we have spoken with her (the entity) and all of the items that we are offering in this listing belonged to her. We were contacted in September by a man who had purchased an old Victorian home built in the early 1800’s, they had wished to do repairs and restore the home but told us that they had encountered some “unexplained” events, events that were hindering the restoration process. They had come to the conclusion (after much denial) that the home may be haunted and that is where we entered the picture. After several phone consultations and emails we traveled to the home which is in Missouri. I will not reveal the location or give names of the current owners to protect and respect their privacy. We spent a week there visiting the home daily at different times to do research, monitor EMF readings, temperature fluctuations etc. We spent a full 72 hrs in the home, during this time we took field notes of what readings we received, and what we experienced. We tried to find any consistent readings, occurrences or find any patterns of activity. During this time we found that there was some residual activity throughout the entire home at different times, however one spectacular find was that at two specific times each day there was an extremely large amount of activity and the readings we received were quite high. The activity occurred at these times and locations every day. It was centered around two certain areas of the property, one was the top floor of the home at one certain area towards the ceiling we would get huge EMF and temperature spikes. The second location was outside in the backyard of the home. On our third full day there we did a complete search and reading of the grounds and the home. We checked every closet, the basement, attic and an old barn which was going to be torn down; during our walk of the property we found an old underground root cellar on the property that was nearly unrecognizable. It basically looked like a little overgrown hill, we discovered it much by accident and found that the current owners had no idea that it was on the property. We had been given full access to the home so we entered the root cellar, we got strong readings there. We found some items that had been stored in the root cellar, one of which was this box and the items you see here which were all stored in what appeared to be an old steamer trunk. With further investigations and communications with the spirit we learned the box of items belonged to a young woman named Emmalise. During our time working with the items and making contact with Emmalise we learned that she had lived in the home and died there as well.  She had communicated with us that she had been very depressed before her death because the man she was to marry had died of typhoid a couple months prior to her own death. His name was Theodore and they had often snuck out to the balcony of the home and secretly climbed onto the rooftop late at night to gaze at the stars. One night after his death she had been thinking of him and went onto the rooftop to look at the stars wanting to feel close to her lost love, sadly she lost her footing and fell to her death. Her family thought that she had jumped from the roof in the midst of her grief taking her own life. But that wasn’t what happened at all. We also learned that the photo pin brooch is a photo of Theodore, there is energy present in this piece. During the contact with Emmalise she led us to an old cemetery where she said she was buried. Once there we found the cemetery overgrown and unkept, basically it appeared to be abandoned. The stones were damaged and very weathered, we were drawn to a stone by Emmalise we were unable to make out a name but this seemed to be the place she insisted that we focus on. We took photos and they came out with orbs and ectoplasm. We were able to obtain the box of items and several other pieces from the current owners. About a month after we had been to the home we were contacted by the new owners, they told us that most of the activity had subsided and that they were able to continue with the restoration with no problems. We want these items and Emmalises’ spirit to go to someone who will respect her, someone who will appreciate these wonderful items that were a part of her life. Someone who will be caring and sensitive to Emmalise and understands that there may be times of high activity and can handle this activity and hopefully work with and communicate with her. Now I will let you know what is included in this listing and give you a description of the items: 1. An old wooden black box, very distinctive Victorian style. It is very delicate and does have damage caused from age and some weathering due to its stored location. However if placed somewhere secure on display and not overly handled it should stay at its current condition. It has been a box that was locked with a key at one time but we did not locate a key for this box. 2. Inside the box was a photo brooch pin with a photo of Theodore (as we were informed). Both the photo and the brooch are aged but are in good condition. The back of the brooch says “made in Holland” 3.Two old aged keys, we do not know what they went to, possibly to the home itself or even and old 1800’s piano.  4. An old coin, an Indian Head cent which is dated 1893 and in excellent condition.  5. There is a beautiful very ornate Victorian brush, appears to have a handle made out of some type of metal and natural bristles. It is in great condition but I do recommend gentle handling and carefulness with the bristles due to its age. 6. A premium pamphlet from a Free street fair dated 1899-the year Emmalise and Theodore both died. It is aged and has some damage but is in good condition. The entire pamphlet is legible and all 16 pages are there. 7. An old photo of Emmalise in Victorian dress. It was taken a few years before her death according to what she communicated with us. Also included will be a photo we took of the headstone from the cemetery which shows the ectoplasm and another photo that shows orb(s). *If the items are sold for the asking price (or close to it) we will include more photos we took and copies of our field notes that were taken during the 7 day investigation of the home and property and a special item that was found with these items that also belonged to Emmalise, this is a nice historical high value item that you will love. We feel the box and all the items included as well as the spirits of Emmalise (and Theodore on occasion) are worth far more than the listed price, the historical value alone is very high, however we are not looking to get the actual worth of the items. What we do want is this to go to the right person and we would like to use proceeds of the sale to establish some type clean-up and restoration of the cemetery, get a fence installed around the property and if possible have an ongoing caretaker. We took many things into consideration before setting a price for this listing, one being a price that is respectful of the items, the energy surrounding them as well as the lives of Emmalise and Theodore, as well as what would be needed to start cleanup of Emmalises’ resting place.
