This bell belonged to a Tibetan monk from the Gaden Monastery, just outside of Lhasa. It is said that his spirit lives on through the chimes of the bell. Its unique melodic sound provides a sense of comfort that is yet to be matched. Each side of the bell's artistic engravings have been smoothed over through the ages from the gentle rubbing against fabric, as it hung from a cord along the waist.
