Registered Post also automatically includes insurance up to the value of $100. What is Registered Post? Registered Post means that a person needs to sign for the item before it can be delivered. Anyone can sign for the item, it does not have to be the addressee. If no one is present at the mailing address at the time it is delivered, a card will be left in the letterbox to notify you that you need to go into the post office to sign for it and collect it.  If you have the item sent to a post office box number, a card will be left in your box notifying you of a registered post item to collect. If you are not able to collect the item on a weekday (check with your post office for collection times outside office hours), most post offices are open Saturday mornings. If we receive an item that has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or because it was unclaimed, we will contact you to determine the correct address or when to repost it to you. However, the buyer will have to pay another postage and handling fee because we will have to repack the item and post it again. The item will not be sent until this extra fee has been received and cleared. Please ensure your registered address on ebay is correct to prevent this situation from occurring.
